1. How much does KlezKamp cost?
- One adult in room: $1,450
- One adult in room (sharing with
children): $1,125
- Two adults sharing room:
$1,125 each
- Three adults sharing room:
$975 each
- Teens 13-17 (sharing room with
at least one adult): $795 each
- Child(ren) 6-12 (sharing room with
at least one adult): $595 each
- Child(ren) 2-5 (sharing room with
at least one adult): $395 each
- Child(ren) under 2 (sharing room
with at least one adult): Free
- Commuter: $750
- Suite (bedroom with king bed plus
living room area with sofabed): $1,800 per adult

Prices include room and board, gratuities plus all programming.
Required annual membership fee is additional.

3. Can I come for just part of the week?
In order to get the full KlezKamp experience, all participants
must register for the entire week. No partial registrations
are permitted.
4. Is the food kosher?
Yes. The dining room and kitchen are under the strict Orthodox
supervision of Rabbi Gershon Kreuser.
5. Can I come if I don’t speak Yiddish or don’t play an instrument or—gevalt!—am not even Jewish??
Yes! There are plenty of offerings for all.

Transportation Information
KlezKamp will be held at the Hudson
Valley Resort and Spa in Kerhonkson, New York. 400 Granite

By Bus from New York City
Charter bus from midtown Manhattan to/from KlezKamp. Leaves from 8th Ave at 33rd St (outside the main entrance of Penn Station) at noon on December 23rd and returns on December 29th, leaving the hotel at noon. $40 one-way (indicate which
way), $70 round-trip, nonrefundable, per person.
Please be aware that public buses are not conveniently timed and
require a taxi ride to the hotel. Sign up on the registration form. Places are limited. Steve Weintraub will be the bus coordinator. If you will be more than 10 minute late please contact Steve at (708)359-8772. If you are riding the bus please make sure we have your cell phone information.
Public Bus: Shortline Bus
Line at Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street and Eighth
Avenue, Manhattan) provides bus service to and from Kerhonkson.

schedule. Pine Hill Trailways provides bus service to
and from New Paltz. For info, call (800) 776-7548 or download
schedule. You will need to take a car service to the
hotel from either location.
By Plane
Nearest airport is Stewart International in Newburgh,
New York, approximately 45 minutes from the Hudson Valley
Resort. Car Rental and Ground Transportation information
from the airport to Kerhonkson can be downloaded.
Albany
Airport is an hour and 15 minutes away.
By Car
From the South:
New York State Thruway (I-87) north to exit 18-New Paltz.
Turn left on Rte. 299. Go 6 miles to the end & turn
right on Rte. 44/55. Go 8.5 miles; turn right at the sign
for HVR&S onto Lower Granite Rd. Go one mile to the
stop sign and turn left. HVR&S is 1/2 mile ahead on
the left. If it is snowy or if you
do not want to drive on a steep hilly road, you may
prefer to take I-87 to Exit 16, Rt. 17 West (future I-86),
and follow the directions from the East printed below.
I-84 will bring you to the NYS thruway (I-87). Then follow
the directions above.
From the North:
New York State Thruway (I-87) South to exit 19-Kingston.
Take Rte. 28 (Pine Hill) to Rte. 209 South (Ellenville).
Go 18 miles & turn left on County Rte. 27 in Accord.
Go. 0.2 miles, turn right onto Granite Rd. HVR&S is
2.3 miles ahead on the left.
I-90 will bring you to the NYS Thruway (I-87). Then follow
the directions above.
From the East:
Rte. 17 West (future I-86) to Exit 113-Ellenville/Wurtsboro.
Turn right onto Rte. 209 North. Continue 6 miles past Ellenville
& turn right onto Rte. 44/55. Go 1.5 miles & turn
left at the sign for HVR&S onto Lower Granite Rd. Go
one mile to the stop sign and turn left. HVR&S is 1/2
mile ahead on the left.
From the West:
Rte 17 (future I-86) East to exit 113-Ellenville/Wurtsboro.
Turn left onto Rte. 209 North. Continue 6 miles past Ellenville
& turn right onto Rte. 44/55. Go 1.5 miles & turn
left at the sign for HVR&S onto Lower Granite Rd. Go

to Bring/What Not to Bring
Bring:
- All instruments you are going to want to play
- Extra strings, reeds, picks, etc.
- Tape recorders, minidisk recorders, music paper
- Music stands
- Extra blank cassettes, CD-Rs and batteries
- Prescription medicines
- Favorite toys/books for your kid
- Camera/video recorder
Don't Bring:
- Tuxedos or fancy-shmancy wear; we run a pretty informal
affair. Instead bring comfortable clothes which can be layered
and/or mixed and matched and comfortable shoes for dancing,
too!
